Using digital papers and colored images

There are many ways you can print and prepare your digital papers and digitally pre-colored digital images, but today I will show you how I use the ones available at Doodle Pantry (6x6 sized PNG paper picture files), to make the most of my 8-1/2 x 11 cardstock sheet.

Today, I am working with Juicy Strawberry.

I open a blank Word document and set the margins to .25 on all 4 sides. This can be found in the "Page setup" option under the "file" pull down menu.

Now I start adding the 6x6 paper images... I add one that i want a full 6x6 area.

Right click it and select to format picture, set the layout tab option to "in front of text", "ok".

Then add another 6x6 paper and do the same thing, then right click it again and select the "order" and then select "to the back".  Then you can start adding the images and sentiments to fill up the rest of your 8-1/2 x 11 page.

Here is my finished full page, ready to print!  I have the basics I need to make at least 2 cards and maybe even some pieces left over for a third.

..............................................................................................................................................
Here is the card I made using the new pre-colored Juicy Strawberry
I printed the background DP using a matching digital paper that comes with the pre-color strawberry set.

SUPPLIES:
  • IMAGE: Juicy Strawberry Pre-colored set digital image and digital papers
  • CS/PAPER: copypaper for the digital paper BG, white CS, CDS spring leaf, CDS strawberry jam, CDS fresh papaya
  • INK: none
  • ACCENTS/TOOLS: spellbinders octagons and labels 1 dies, sewing machine, green satin from walmart, pearls, EK fern punch, button, misc SU flower punches, foam pop dots, glue dots
.............................................................................................................................
Thank you for visiting today!   I hope you've found something to inspire you to get crafty.
I wish you a happy craft-filled week!  See you again soon!
